Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to use the Service. By adding the bot you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are authorised to add the bot to the server in question.

2. Permitted use

The Service is provided to help server administrators moderate their Discord communities. You may use it to:

• Detect and remove messages that violate your server's rules.
• Manage whitelists, blocked word lists, and moderation settings for your server.
• View violation logs, server activity statistics, and bot usage summaries.

3. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:

• Harass, target, or discriminate against users based on protected characteristics.
• Circumvent or intentionally misuse the moderation filters.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the dashboard or bot infrastructure.
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
• Use the bot on a server whose primary purpose is to produce or distribute hate speech, illegal content, or content that violates Discord's policies.

4. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the bot will catch every policy violation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

5. Accuracy of moderation

Automated moderation is imperfect. The bot may occasionally produce false positives (flagging innocent content) or false negatives (missing violations). You are responsible for reviewing moderation decisions and maintaining appropriate human oversight. The Service is a tool to assist human moderators, not a replacement for them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, missed violations, wrongful message deletions, or user disputes within your server.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the bot owner and any contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

8. Intellectual property

All source code, templates, and documentation for the Service are the intellectual property of the bot owner. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service without express written permission.

9. Premium & billing

Premium is a recurring subscription billed through Ko-fi or Stripe. Payment is processed entirely by Ko-fi/Stripe on their own checkout pages — we never receive or store your card details (see the Privacy Policy).

• You must have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or legal guardian's consent) to purchase Premium — the general Eligibility age in Section 1 covers using the Service, but entering into a paid subscription requires legal capacity to contract.
• All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, including for partial subscription periods, accidental purchases, or servers that stop using the bot.
• Cancelling stops future renewal but does not refund the current billing period — premium remains active until that period ends.
• If a payment fails, is disputed, or is charged back, premium access may be revoked immediately and without notice.
• Manage or cancel your subscription directly through Ko-fi or Stripe, whichever you purchased through — we cannot process billing changes on your behalf.
• If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you acknowledge that by purchasing Premium you are requesting immediate access to digital content and expressly waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to remove the bot from any server, revoke dashboard access, or terminate your use of the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms or misusing the Service. You may remove the bot from your server at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the support server. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.

13. Assignment

We may assign or transfer these Terms and our rights and obligations under them (for example, if ownership of the Service changes) without your consent. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

14. Entire agreement & no waiver

These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the subject. If we don't enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion, that isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
